DESCRIPTION:The 62nd Defense Working Group on Nondestructive Testing (DWGNDT) will be held from July 14 through 19\, 2024\, at the Sheraton Music City Hotel\, 777 McGavock Pike\, Nashville\, TN 37214. This year’s meeting will commence with optional training sessions on Monday. Technical breakout sessions will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday\, and a full day of technical presentations will be held on Thursday. The meeting will conclude on Friday with a half day to update the membership on the progress of the breakout meetings and follow-on action items. \n  \nAttendance eligibility: \n\nGeneral Requirements: All sessions are unclassified. US Citizenship required.\n\n\nEach session will be controlled and monitored by a Military or DoD Civilian for compliance with the requirements for topics of discussion.\n\n\nClosed Sessions: Open to Military\, US Government Civilians\, and Contractors working directly for Military organizations utilizing NDT test methods for inspection and quality control of US Military and Defense hardware. DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThis is a 40 hour (5 day) course developed for currently certified Level 2 personnel transitioning from Film to Non-Film to meet the minimum formal training requirements per NAS410. With Level 3 approval this class may also be used to transition currently certified RT/Film Level 2 personnel to “CR” or “DR” techniques per the requirements of SNT-TC-1A.
