Overview
This course is intended for CT system users of any experience level.
Students will learn CT acquisition and reconstruction methods that can be applied to all types of parts and materials across diverse industries.

- Hands-on experience and live demonstrations with high-end CT systems
- Advanced technique development
- Designing and implementing fixtures based upon scan requirements
- Optimizing scan geometry
- Analyzing scan speed vs. quality
- Adjusting spatial resolution and contrast sensitivity
- Evaluating product inspection requirements
- Controlling and managing dataset sizes
- Advanced reconstruction techniques
- Understanding system settings and options that impact measurements and dimensional accuracy
- Review applicable standards, such as ASTM E3375, E1695, etc.
This course includes material covering the topical outline for CT Level II personnel as provided in ASNT CP-105, NAS-410, and SNT-TC-1A, and can be used for Continuous Education units.
