A common concept is mounting the detector and the tube on a robot arm. The part doesn’t need to be gripped by a robot. That way it makes it a very flexible solution to accommodate a large variety of parts.
The robot can be mounted on a rail system to add an additional axis to the system. This is used to inspect large objects like airplane wings or helicopter blades.
