PiXS DR Acquisition

Images from the X-ray detector are corrected through different methods to ensure optimum image quality. Once the image is acquired it will stored in file format such as TIF or DICONDE. Along with the image there will be a database entry including meta data such as X-ray settings, position data many more. The database is a standard SQL database that can be hosted on one of the system computers or on a customer’s server.

• The software is designed for ease of use for operators by eliminating unnecessary buttons on the user interface and automating all operator functions.
• The acquisition software can be customized to specific requirements and use cases.
• The acquisition software controls all hardware components of the system including the manipulator, detector and X-ray source.

Our acquisition software can write DICONDE files (and push into a DICONDE PACS server) including necessary tags.
